**Job Description**
This post-doctoral position focuses on the measurement and modeling of diffuse scattering using X-rays, electrons, and neutrons to establish local structure and correlated disorder in advanced materials, including ultrafast femtosecond science. The role involves software development, conducting measurements at local and large international facilities, and fostering connections between local order and material properties. The successful candidate will contribute to materials crystallography research within the Iversen group.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong background in materials crystallography.
• Proficiency in measurement and analysis of diffuse scattering.
• Experience using the 3D-DPDF method.
• Preferably experience in writing scientific software.
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Ph.D in Chemistry
• Ph.D in Crystallography
• Ph.D in Physics
• Ph.D in Materials Science
