Postdoctoral Position (Scholar or Associate)

**Job Description**
A postdoctoral position is available in the Dai Lab at Washington University in St. Louis, focusing on understanding the homeostasis of lung vascular biology and the pathogenesis of cardiopulmonary diseases. The primary goals are to define underlying mechanisms of pulmonary vascular diseases, including pulmonary hypertension, and to identify novel precision therapeutic approaches for lung diseases and right heart failure due to pulmonary hypertension. Research projects include defining genetic mechanisms in pulmonary arterial hypertension, evaluating endothelial cell crosstalk in lung diseases like COPD and lung fibrosis, and developing lung-specific targeting approaches. The lab utilizes cutting-edge technologies such as genetic lineage tracing, CRISPR genomic editing, single-cell omics, and spatial transcriptomics.
