The Postdoctoral Research Associate will conduct research in Plant Medicinal Natural Product Biochemistry within a dynamic and interdisciplinary team. The role focuses on a cutting-edge project involving bioactive natural products from medicinal plants, specifically elucidating biosynthetic pathways, genomics, enzymology, and reconstitution of pathways in *Nicotiana benthamiana*. Responsibilities include performing basic or applied research using existing theories and methods, assisting with the interpretation and publication of results and grants, and maintaining the laboratory while potentially supervising supporting research staff.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Proven experience in the field of plant medicinal natural product biochemistry
• Proficiency in molecular cloning, protein expression and purification, enzyme assays, genomics, and other modern biochemical techniques
• Expertise in metabolic pathway analysis and biosynthetic gene cluster discovery
• Familiarity with *N. benthamiana* transformation, genetic manipulation, and agroinfiltration
• Strong record of high-quality publications in related scientific fields
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently and to quickly adjust to changing priorities
