A newly established laboratory of Dr. Yao Wei Lu is recruiting two Postdoc Research Associates. The lab studies gene regulation that dictates cell fates and states in development and diseases, with a particular interest in applying cutting-edge molecular, cellular, and genetic approaches to understand post-transcriptional gene regulatory mechanisms in cardiovascular development, regeneration, and diseases. This position is for qualified candidates seeking a career in basic and translational research in cardiovascular biology.

• Strong background in cell and molecular biology.
• Publications in peer-reviewed journals in the same or related field (preferred).
• Background in mouse genetics, human induced pluripotent stem cells (preferred).
