**Job Description**
This MRC-funded Postdoctoral Research Associate position in Dr Tom Nightingale’s lab at the Centre for Microvascular Research is a unique opportunity for early-career researchers to contribute to an established team. The project aims to determine the impact of cellular senescence pathways on regulated endothelial secretion, using high-resolution microscopy, biochemical assays, and molecular cell biology both in vitro and in vivo. The research holds significant pathophysiological relevance for understanding the contribution of endothelial cell phenotypes to inflammatory and haemostatic responses in aging individuals.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Previous experience in vascular biology (desirable)
• Advanced microscopy (desirable)
• Molecular biology (desirable)
• Intracellular trafficking both in vitro and in vivo (desirable)
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Cell Biology
• Biochemistry
PhD (or close to completion) in the field of cell biology and biochemistry is essential.
**Experience**
Other:
