**Job Description**
This Postdoctoral Research Associate position involves developing accurate computational models for time-resolved X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (TRXPS) experiments of gas phase molecules. The successful candidate will investigate satellite states in TRXPS measurements and their application in tracking photochemical change, utilizing new computational approaches to understand the underlying chemistry and physics of experimental investigations at Free Electron Laser Facilities. The role is part of a vibrant, interdisciplinary project with several theoretical and experimental research groups studying photochemical processes.
**Skills & Abilities**
� Experience of method development in quantum chemistry
� Demonstrable coding experience (e.g., Python, Fortran, C++)
� Experience in modeling spectroscopic observables
� Experience in quantum and semi-classical dynamics
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
� Theoretical Chemistry
� Computational Chemistry
� Related area (Ph.D. or equivalent)
