**Job Description**
The Division of Nephrology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (Omaha) is seeking a postdoctoral research associate. The role requires a Ph.D. in biochemistry, immunology, pharmacology, physiology, pathology, or a related field, with expertise in immunological responses in vertebrate animals. The successful candidate will investigate mechanisms of kidney injury in kidney transplantation models, including signaling pathways leading to nephrotoxic injury from common immunosuppressants and immunological/non-immunological mechanisms of late graft failure.

• First-author publications in peer-reviewed journals
• Ability to write research papers, with goal of multiple grant submissions in the first year
