**Job Description**
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will conduct research within their field of expertise, utilizing advanced skills and education to complete projects. Responsibilities include analyzing research data, summarizing results, and contributing to research papers, articles, and publications. The associate will also assist with worksite preparation and cleaning, and may collaborate with other researchers, faculty, or mentor student researchers.

� Experience with animal husbandry and special housing
� In vitro electrophysiology techniques such as patch clamping and brain slice preparation
� Immunohistochemistry experience with confocal imaging and 3-dimensional analysis of morphology of neurons and/or glia
� Experience with Multiclamp 200B and 700B type amplifiers or comparable
� Experience with Axoclamp 900A amplifiers or comparable
� Experience with PClamp software or equivalent
� Experience with DSI radio telemetry systems or equivalent
� Experience with Confocal laser scanning microscope such as a Ziess 880 or equivalent
� Experience with Huygen deconvolution software

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
� A related field
Other:
� Appropriate PhD in a related field.

Salary
Annual Salary: Commensurate based on the selected hire's education and experience.
