**Job Description**
This Postdoctoral Research Associate position in Machine Learning is within the Precision Healthcare University Research Institute (PHURI), specifically in Dr. Joseph Taylor’s team, focusing on understanding and managing anemia. The role is part of the international BloodCounts! Consortium, which pioneers Federated Learning in healthcare to improve disease diagnosis and understanding via blood signatures. The successful candidate will leverage large-scale electronic health record data and cytometry data to develop and refine machine learning models for diagnosing common blood disorders in diverse populations, with opportunities to integrate research with other PHURI themes.
