Aston University’s Energy & Bioproducts Research Institute (EBRI) is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) to join the UK-Saudi Waste2Energy project. This high-profile initiative, funded through the Gulf Strategy Fund, aims to strengthen collaboration between the UK and Saudi Arabia in sustainable waste management, biochar technology, and behavioural change policy. The role combines research, coordination, and international engagement.

• Proven experience in producing high-quality research outputs, such as policy or market reports.
• Experience in project management in multi-partner or international contexts.

• Knowledge of waste valorisation or biochar technology (desirable).
• Experience of SME or B2B engagement (desirable).

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s):
• Ph.D (or close to completion) in a relevant discipline such as Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Sustainability, Policy Studies, or Circular Economy.
