**Job Description**
The research project involves studying genetic regulatory variation and its link to molecular, cellular, and organismal phenotypes using a systems genetics approach. The role is fully computational, potentially incorporating human genetics, gene regulation, cell biology, and computational systems biology. The research group focuses on understanding how genomic variation contributes to human traits and diseases, utilizing computational and experimental approaches in human genetics, functional genomics, and molecular biology.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Research expertise in functional genomics, molecular or cell biology, human genetics or an equivalent field
• Prior expertise in large-scale genomics or molecular cell biology techniques
• Ability to analyze large-scale data
• Collaborative abilities
• Independence
• Strong publication record
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Prior expertise in tissue culture, CRISPR experiments, or single-cell genomics (preferred)
• Teaching abilities (preferred)
• Awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with specific focus on gender equality (preferred)
