**Job Description**
DTU Energy is seeking postdoctoral researchers to conduct cutting-edge research on the next generation of solid oxide electrolysis cell (SOEC) technology. The role involves enhancing the mechanical robustness of cell and stack components and gaining deeper insights into their behavior under technologically relevant and dynamic operating conditions, essential for green hydrogen production and Power-to-X schemes.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong knowledge of mechanics of materials
• Hands-on experience with mechanical testing
• Experience with materials characterization techniques, e.g., SEM/EDX and XRD
• Highly motivated with a strong interest in the research subject
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, share thoughts, receive feedback, and carry out parallel tasks
• Experience with processing/sintering of functional ceramics (preferable)
• Knowledge of SOEC materials and technology (preferable)

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Mechanical Engineering
• Materials Science
• Related discipline
