**Job Description**
This role seeks a highly motivated and ambitious Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Translation Biology Research Group, focusing on understanding the human tumour microenvironment (TME) and its role in cancer progression, immune evasion, and therapeutic resistance. The group emphasizes advanced human tumour models to ensure clinical relevance. The post requires strong organizational skills, laboratory management, and acting as a conduit for collaborators. The post holder will also serve as a deputy human tissue point of contact, guiding departmental members on human tissue work, and assisting with supervision of junior researchers and international collaborators. Opportunities for postgraduate teaching are also available.

• Experience of flow cytometry
• Experience with tissue culture
• Experience with one of the more advanced tissue culture techniques (organoids, spheroids or primary tissue culture) (desirable but not essential)
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Cancer biology
• Immunology
• Cell biology
**Experience**
Other:
• Hold a PhD/Dphil (or near to completion)
• Experience of flow cytometry
• Experience with tissue culture
