**Job Description**
The University of Oxford’s Department of Psychiatry and Big Data Institute are seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher. The successful candidate will develop novel statistical and computational methods using “big data” to address questions related to common complex diseases and disorders within Professor Naomi Wray’s group, contributing to the Pioneer Centre for SMARTbiomed.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Ability to manage own academic research and associated activities

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Statistical Genetics (Ph.D/DPhil)
• Related field (Ph.D/DPhil)
Other:
• A medical qualification (desirable)

**Experience**

• Proven track record of method development in statistical genetic
• Experience of analysing big data (desirable)
