**Job Description**
The Molecular Biology of Cancer group at the Instituto Universitario de Oncología del Principado de Asturias (IUOPA), Universidad de Oviedo, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced postdoctoral researcher. The project focuses on elucidating the molecular mechanisms through which somatic mutations affecting RNA splicing contribute to tumorigenesis and investigating the mechanisms driving resistance to CAR-T cell therapies.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Demonstrated expertise in cancer research.
• Experience in bioinformatics is highly desirable.
• A strong publication record.
• Proven ability to work in collaborative and multidisciplinary research environments.
• Excellent English proficiency.
• Good Spanish proficiency.
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Biomedicine
• Molecular Oncology
• Molecular Biology
• Medical sciences (Cancer research)
• Biological sciences (Biology / Other)
**Experience**
Experience Required:
• Minimum of two years of postdoctoral experience abroad is preferred.
• Candidates with at least four years of postdoctoral research (without international experience) may be considered if internationally experienced candidates do not fulfill other criteria.
Other:
• 4 – 10 years of research experience.
