Postdoctoral Researcher

**Job Description**
This postdoctoral researcher position, affiliated with TEXT: Contemporary Cultures of Text at Aarhus University, focuses on critical and theoretically informed research into how AI is transforming text culture. The successful applicant will engage in empirical studies, collaborate on projects exploring AI-driven creativity and co-creation in text, and contribute to the center’s broader research initiatives and academic outreach. The role also involves a small degree of teaching and supervision on BA and MA levels, requiring instruction in both English and Danish.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• Literature
• Information Science
• Media Studies
• Closely related domain

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• An internationally oriented research profile within NLP, Literature, Information Science, Media Studies, or a closely related domain as documented by a PhD dissertation and/or research publications
• Experience of empirical research methods, such as corpus analysis, surveys, or other data-driven approaches
• Relevant teaching experience at university level as documented by a teaching portfolio (or equivalent documentation of teaching experience and qualifications) commensurate with the length of the applicant’s academic career
Other:
• A track record of research publications of a high international standard commensurate with the length of the applicant’s academic career (advantage)
• Experience of participation in national and international research networks (advantage)
• Time spent abroad working at one or more internationally recognised research institutions (advantage)
