**Job Description**
This project, funded for 3 years by the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), aims to decipher the myosin mechanochemical cycle through time-resolved cryo-EM. The research involves developing time-resolved cryo-EM to trap the molecular motor myosin in various states, advancing the understanding of its function. This elucidation is critical for understanding diseases like early-onset cardiac disease and for identifying how small molecules can modulate myosin function. Exceptional facilities and training, including two Titan Krios electron microscopes with the latest detectors, are available to support the project.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Experience in cryo-EM
• Protein expression and purification

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Structural Biology
• Closely allied discipline
