**Job Description**
An ambitious researcher is sought to join a vibrant team at the Astbury Centre for Structural Molecular Biology. The project, funded for 3 years by the BBSRC, focuses on deciphering the myosin mechanochemical cycle through the development and application of time-resolved cryo-EM. This research aims to trap molecular motor myosin in various states to significantly advance understanding of its function, which is crucial for insights into diseases like early-onset cardiac disease and the modulation of function by small molecules. Exceptional facilities and training, including two Titan Krios electron microscopes, are available to support the project.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Structural Biology
• Closely allied discipline
• PhD (or close to completion)
