**Job Description**
This postdoctoral position focuses on advancing multi-scale durability modeling of self-compacting concrete (SCC) incorporating CO₂-sequestered magnesium silicate minerals as supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs). The C-Sink Project, funded by the EU EIC Pathfinder Challenges 2024, aims to decarbonize construction by developing a breakthrough binder system that couples clinker reduction with permanent CO₂ mineralization, enabling concrete to act as a net carbon sink. The role involves high-impact, multidisciplinary research within a consortium of seven leading European universities, research institutes, and industrial partners.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong knowledge of concrete technology and durability
• Demonstrated experience in experimental durability research of construction materials
• Solid background in numerical simulation and multi-scale modeling
• Strong publication record in relevant journals
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
