**Job Description**
Stanford University invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in Professor Oliver Philcox’s physical cosmology group. The successful candidate will engage with the research communities at the Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology (KIPAC) and the Leinweber Institute for Theoretical Physics (LITP). Research will focus on physical cosmology, encompassing inflationary cosmology, large-scale structure, cosmic microwave background, and other fundamental physics probes in the early and late Universe. The group works across theory, simulations, and observational data, including from Planck and DESI. This position offers access to significant computational resources and opportunities for collaboration with Stanford Data Science, the Center for Decoding the Universe, and the SLAC theory group.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Knowledge of theoretical and/or observational cosmology
• Proficiency in perturbative methods
• Strong background in other theoretical or data analysis fields (with an interest in physical cosmology)
