**Job Description**
A Postdoctoral Research Scholar position is available in Pediatrics – Research to conduct groundbreaking research on sex differences in cardiovascular diseases. The primary focus will be on the role of sex chromosomes in aortic aneurysms, atherosclerosis, and heart failure, utilizing mouse models that modulate sex chromosome complements coupled with castration surgeries. Under the mentorship of Dr. Yasir Alsiraj, the scholar will be responsible for designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, and disseminating research findings through publications and presentations. **Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Ph.D
**Experience**
Experience Required:
• Experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR/RTPCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA/RNA extraction, sterile lab practices, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, ELISA
• Track record of research productivity demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations in cardiovascular sciences
