**Job Description**
This position involves clinical research in a neonatal intensive care unit hospital setting, focusing on ensuring the smooth operation of study activities and that infants receive specified interventions and study procedures. The role requires excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills. Under general direction, the assistant performs clinical research tasks, including interventions on neonatal participants, communication with families, setting up and operating clinical equipment like EEG leads (after training), assisting with data collection and database maintenance, and providing training to support staff. The candidate must be adaptable to various tasks for primary and other funded studies as time allows.

• Prior related clinical research experience in the NICU is preferred
• Prior related clinical research and experience with infants and/or neonates is preferred (willing to train successful applicant)
