**Job Description**
The Minnesota Council on Economic Education (MCEE), an entrepreneurial non-profit (501c3) housed in the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, is seeking a Program and Research Assistant. MCEE’s mission is to equip Minnesotans with economic and personal finance knowledge and skills. This role involves providing comprehensive research support for ongoing programming, special projects, and legislative advocacy efforts, alongside administrative support for program reports, material preparation, and event management.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Quick learner, able to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to ask clarifying questions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Apps.
• Experience with database applications (Preferred).
• Experience with research (Preferred).
• Background in economics and personal finance (Preferred).
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• High school student or above
