**Job Description**
These positions are for two part-time Research Assistants within the Community Paediatrics Research Group, part of the Central Clinical School at The University of Sydney. The roles are integral to the EPIC-ND project, an MRFF-funded mixed-methods, multi-site randomised controlled trial evaluating social prescribing to address unmet social needs of parents/carers of children with neurodisability. Responsibilities include participant screening, data collection and analysis, ethics application support, and ensuring research documentation flow, while collaborating with various stakeholders including NSW Health partners and families.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Knowledge, experience and understanding of the health and social care needs of priority populations, including people with lived experience of neurodisability.
• Knowledge of research protocols, experimental design and planning involved in developing research projects and reporting against milestones.
• Experience working with a range of computer systems and applications, including REDCap, NVIVO, and Excel.
• Superior interpersonal communication skills, including with people with lived experience of neurodisability, to initiate and maintain effective stakeholder relationships whilst exercising discretion and confidentiality.
• Excellent time management skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and productively within a team, but also to take initiative and work independently while managing competing demands.
• Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Health
• Allied Health
• Psychology
• Other relevant discipline

**Experience**
Other:
• Experience working with and/or supporting people with chronic and complex health conditions including people with lived experience of neurodisability (preferred).
• Working with Children Check clearance.
• Valid work rights for Australia.
