**Job Description**
The Wang RNA-MIND Laboratory at NYU Abu Dhabi’s Division of Science is seeking a Research Assistant to work on projects focused on understanding RNA modification signaling pathways in the nervous system and their role in synaptic, neuronal, and behavioral plasticity. The laboratory investigates the neural mechanisms of dynamic RNA regulation upon cognitive development and decline, employing behavioral, biochemical, molecular, cell biology, fluorescence imaging, and next-generation sequencing methods with genetically engineered mice models and high-throughput sequencing. The role includes an individual development plan and benefits from established Core Bioinformatics, Sequencing Platforms, and High-Performance Computing facilities.
