**Job Description**
The Hill Lab at Barnard College seeks a full-time Research Assistant for an NSF-funded project using *Drosophila melanogaster* to study the contribution of glial ion channels and transporters to neuronal homeostasis and behavior. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate to further develop scientific research and communication skills, with the expectation of authorship in peer-reviewed publications. The role involves working independently on a research project and assisting with training undergraduate students.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Prior research experience (especially with *Drosophila* and/or confocal microscopy is a plus)
• Good interpersonal skills

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Bachelor of Arts
• Bachelor of Science
Preferred Degree(s) in:
• Neuroscience
• Biology
