**Job Description**
The Institute of Physics (IoP) at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) is seeking a Research Assistant to join its QG&QI team. This role involves providing hands-on support for exciting research with ultracold atoms and trapped ions, developing complex experimental machines, and sharing knowledge with MSc, Ph.D., and postdoctoral researchers. The position focuses on maintaining research quality by providing high-level continuity and expertise within the QG&QI, QMat, and SM research clusters, including building new laser systems, assisting with ultracold atom experimental setups, and maintaining lab infrastructure.

• Demonstrable experience of laser systems and optics
