Research Assistant

**Job Description**
Nanyang Technological University (NTU) invites applications for a Research Assistant position within the College of Computing & Data Science (CCDS). The role involves analyzing dataflow patterns in emerging data-intensive applications, designing and developing parallel file systems for node-local NVMe, and evaluating the performance implications of alternative storage semantics. The successful candidate will also contribute to research papers, technical reports, and presentations.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Good knowledge in parallel and distributed computing, and algorithm design, performance analysis and optimization
• Demonstrated capability to conduct innovative research
• Proficiency in basics of programming languages such as C, C++ and Python
• Excellent teamwork and verbal, written communication skills
