**Job Description**
This Research Assistant position in the laboratory of Prof Leonie Taams at King’s College London focuses on providing high-quality laboratory research support for projects, including a Wellcome Trust Collaborative Award-funded initiative aimed at identifying the cellular and molecular drivers of pain and inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis. The role also involves crucial technical support for the processing of rheumatological samples (human blood, synovial fluid, and synovial tissue) for ongoing studies within the Taams lab and with collaborators.

• Strong practical (lab-based) experience in a range of relevant immunological research skills including cellular and molecular biology techniques
• Experience in processing, storage and recording of human blood and tissue samples
• Hands-on experience in multi-parameter flow cytometry experiment design, acquisition and analysis
• Demonstrable experience in human immune and/or stromal cell culture
• Experience in cytokine detection assays (e.g., ELISA/Luminex)
• Experience in molecular biology skills (e.g., qPCR, western blotting)
