**Job Description**
The Research Assistant will join an exciting project within the Centre for Musculoskeletal Research focused on exploring the genetic basis, shared genetic mechanisms, and the potential use of genetic risk scores for diagnosing seronegative immune-mediated inflammatory diseases. These conditions, such as the seronegative spondyloarthritides, present significant diagnostic challenges, leading to frequent misdiagnosis and prolonged delays. The role will involve leveraging genetics and other omics approaches, including genome-wide association studies (GWAS), whole genome sequencing (WGS) analyses, and GWAS meta-analyses using public genetic datasets to improve early detection and diagnostic accuracy.
