**Job Description**
The Sailem Group at King’s College London focuses on advancing cancer care through computational and AI technologies, integrating deep learning, computer vision, and bioinformatics to analyze multi-modal data including medical imaging, genomics, and clinical records. This Research Assistant role involves hands-on experience with real-world biomedical datasets, contributing to high-impact research to develop next-generation AI tools for cancer diagnosis and treatment. The successful candidate will design, develop, and apply state-of-the-art machine learning techniques, including vision transformers (ViTs), graph neural networks (GNNs), and vision-language models (VLMs), for multimodal learning tasks to uncover predictive and explainable biomarkers of cancer progression and treatment response. This position offers opportunities for collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and external partners, contributing to the full research pipeline from ideation to dissemination.
