**Job Description**
This position involves participating in the ongoing development of an algorithm platform for digital shadows and twins of machines and structures. The role will include research and development within system identification and model updating, in collaboration with other departments at Aarhus University and industrial partners.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong background in computational mechanics and dynamics
• Solid understanding of the theoretical aspects of structural mechanics and dynamics
• Solid understanding of vibration theory
• Solid understanding of numerical analysis
• Substantial experience in scientific computing and programming using Python
• Good communication and language skills (English)
• Good teamworking skills
• Interested in developing skills and competences in software engineering

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Computational Solid Mechanics
• Computational Dynamics
• Vibration-based Structural Health Monitoring (preferred application)

**Experience**
Other:
• Experience with vibration-based structural health monitoring
• Substantial experience in scientific computing and programming using Python
