**Job Description**
The Research Assistant will provide scientific and technical assistance for laboratory-based, clinical, or population science research under the direction of the Principal Investigator. This role involves designing and performing research protocols, conducting molecular biological and genetic studies in Drosophila for understanding exercise adaptations and chronic diseases, collecting and analyzing data, assisting with manuscript preparation and presentations, and performing routine lab maintenance and ordering.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Biological science or related field (B.S. minimum)
**Experience**
Experience Required:
• Less than 1 year (Entry level)
Other:
• 1-3 years of laboratory experience in genetic or biomedical research (highly desirable)
• Additional experience in Drosophila (a plus)
