**Job Description**
The Dong lab at the University of Kansas Medical Center seeks a Research Assistant to study human bacterial pathogens. This role involves performing research with live mouse models, bacterial proteins, and live bacteria in vitro, managing lab inventory, maintaining detailed laboratory records, and contributing to data generation for publications and grant submissions. The assistant will also participate in collaborative studies and regular lab communications to discuss experimental design and interpretation of results. The position requires adherence to university, departmental, IACUC, and biosafety protocols.

• Prior experience with dilution plating (Preferred)
