**Job Description**
The Department of Digital Arts and Creative Industries (DACI) at Lingnan University is seeking a Research Assistant Professor for a fixed-term position. The role involves contributing to teaching and service for the MA in Creative and Media Industries (MACMI) program, with expectations to teach MA-level courses, supervise capstone projects, and contribute to department development. The successful candidate will also be expected to submit applications for competitive research grants and fellowships.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Good track record of refereed publications, awards and competitive grants
• Up-to-date knowledge in the literature of media and creative industries with demonstrated strengths along institutional, historical or technological lines
• Teaching experience in subjects such as theory, history, and methods of media and creative industries; comparative cultural policy in East Asia; Hong Kong creative and media industries; new technology and media industries
• Familiarity with regional mediascapes and current East Asian creative and film industries
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Film and media studies
• Relevant areas

Other:
• Obtained / been conferred a PhD degree or an equivalent qualification for no more than five years prior to the commencement of the appointment.
