The Research Assistant Professor position within the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Kansas Medical Center supports an NIH-funded program focused on islet biology and metabolic disease. � 3 years in a research laboratory setting

� Postgraduate training, suchs as postdoctoral research, with experience in islet biology, diabetes, gene regulation, or a related field
� Experience securing research funding (e.g., fellowships, grants)
� Experience mentoring trainees and managing collaborative teams
