**Job Description**
The Research Assistant (RA) will work in the Department of Neuroscience, specifically in Dr. Italo Mocchetti’s laboratory at Georgetown University Medical Center. This position is funded by an NIH grant and focuses on an animal study aimed at establishing the role of a specific receptor in brain function. The RA will conduct experiments on genetically unique mice, which includes performing behavioral studies (motor and cognitive) and analyzing brain sections for signs of neuronal abnormalities using immunohistochemistry.
