**Job Description**
Duke-NUS Medical School, a collaboration between Duke University and the National University of Singapore, established the Centre of Regulatory Excellence (CoRE) in 2014 to foster competencies, build capacity, and promote thought leadership in regulatory science and health policy across the Asia Pacific region. This role involves actively expanding CoRE’s research initiatives, particularly in health products and health services regulations. The selected candidate will support a collaborative project with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Health Sciences Authority (HSA) of Singapore, focusing on strengthening regulatory systems through horizon scanning, identification, assessment, and prioritization of new health technologies. This work aims to build a regional repository of best practices and support evidence-based decision-making for healthcare policy and resource allocation.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong writing and critical thinking skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Applications and analysis software (e.g., SPSS, STATA, NVivo, Tableau).
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders.
• A team player who is able to prioritise, multi-task, perform well under pressure and work collaboratively in a diverse workforce.
• Ability to interact with academia, industry, funders and regulators.
• Able to undertake research assignments with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with regional healthcare systems and regulatory environments is an advantage.

**Qualifications**

• Life Sciences
• Public Health
• Global Health
• Public Policy
• Other related disciplines

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• 2 years (relevant work experience with Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree)
Other:
• Prior experience in health services research, health technology assessment, or regulatory science is preferred.
• Proven record of in the form of high impact publications.
• Entry level candidates may also be considered.
