**Job Description**
The Research Assistant will provide general research support to the Chemistry Program Director and research team by conducting laboratory work, literature reviews, data collection, and general administrative and technical support related to catalyst synthesis and characterization. This position plays a key role in helping advance experimental research goals and ensuring accurate documentation of results.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong interest in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related sciences
• Ability to learn new laboratory and data analysis techniques with guidance
• Attention to detail and ability to follow complex protocols
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Coursework or experience in inorganic chemistry, catalysis, or materials science (Desired)
• Previous experience working in a research lab or conducting chemical experiments (Desired)
• Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and standard lab equipment (Desired)
• Experience with data visualization tools or basic analysis software (e.g., Excel, Python, Origin, or similar) (Desired)

• Chemistry
• Chemical Engineering
