Research Associate / Research Assistant

**Job Description**
The appointees will contribute to a research project titled “Portrait of the Hong Kong: Bridging place identity, culture and emotional engagement via MTR interactive art installations.” Key responsibilities include assisting with literature reviews, developing the system platform, conducting user studies for prototype evaluation (including experiment design, data collection, and analysis), and preparing related documentation.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Technical skills in interactive art installation/system design (Touchdesigner/Unity/Unreal)
• Web data scraping and cleaning
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Relevant portfolio related to system development, Human-Computer Interaction/Cultural Studies (Preference)
• Knowledge of Cantonese (Preference)

Required Degree(s) in:
• Programming (Research Associate)
• Software engineering (Research Associate)
• New media art engineering (Research Associate)
• Computer science (Research Assistant)
• Information technology (Research Assistant)
