Research Fellow

**Job Description**
The Research Fellow position is dedicated to supporting research in power electronics for renewable energy systems, including solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, battery energy storage systems (BESSs), and electrolyzers, aligning with the university’s sustainability targets. The role involves designing and developing power converter solutions, conducting simulations and experiments, and ensuring compliance with grid codes.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Solid expertise in power electronics analysis, simulation, and experimental validation.
• Proficiency in tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or PSIM.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative research environment.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Electrical Engineering or a closely related field

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• Fresh Ph.D. graduates with strong potential are encouraged to apply.
Other:
• Candidates with a significant track record and minimum 4 years as a post-doc could be considered for a Senior Research Fellow position.
• Experience with grid codes, HIL simulators, rapid prototyping, or wide bandgap devices is a plus.
