**Job Description**
The Institute for Communication Systems (ICS), home of the 6G Innovation Centre (6GIC), is recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Fellow specializing in Antennas Design for 6G wireless communications. The successful candidate will engage in research involving wireless communication systems design, electromagnetic waves, reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS), and the air-interface of 4G/5G systems, working within a strong and vibrant research team.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Research experience in wireless communication systems design in a University and/or Industry environments
• Expertise in antenna design
• Knowledge of electromagnetic waves
• Understanding of reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS)
• Familiarity with air-interface of 4G / 5G systems
• Track record of publications
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
• Proactive
• Ability to engage with other researchers
• Self-motivated

Required Degree(s) in:
• RF / Microwave Engineering
• Electronic Engineering
