**Job Description**
This AHRC-funded “Empathy, Narrative and Cultural Values” project investigates how explanatory frameworks and beliefs influence South Asian Muslims’ perception and categorization of narratives in education and health settings within the West Midlands. Focusing on data collection, the research analyzes commonly-used language to identify narrative aspects that foster empathy, considering how faith and culture shape underpinning values. The project aims to develop humanities-led, culturally sensitive communication strategies in health and education to address inequalities and improve professional practice and outcomes.

• Proficiency in NVivo software

**Qualifications**
