**Job Description**
A Research Fellow position is available to contribute to an NIHR-funded program focused on preconception, maternal, and child health. The role involves leading and contributing to quantitative studies to strengthen evidence on the importance and impact of health before pregnancy on maternal and child outcomes. This includes developing data analysis plans, managing data, and conducting statistical analysis of national and local routine health datasets, such as ECHILD data. The post holder will quantify the effects of preconception intervention scenarios on maternal and child health, health service use, educational outcomes, and reducing inequalities, with opportunities to lead and contribute to peer-reviewed publications. The role requires collaboration with statisticians, health professionals, policy makers, and public contributors to maximize dissemination and impact.
