**Job Description**
A Research Fellow position is available at the University of Southampton focusing on statistics or epidemiology with an interest in preconception, maternal, and child health. This role is part of an NIHR-funded program aiming to enhance support for planning and preparing for pregnancy and parenthood. The post holder will lead and contribute to quantitative studies, developing data analysis plans, managing data, and conducting statistical analysis of health datasets, including the ECHILD resource. Key objectives include quantifying the effects of preconception interventions on maternal and child health, health service use, educational outcomes, and reducing inequalities. The role also involves exploring related questions, leading/contributing to peer-reviewed publications, and collaborating with multidisciplinary colleagues to disseminate findings and inform policy and practice.
