You will lead research in the development and application of within-host mathematical models to understand the long-term dynamics of natural and vaccine-induced immunity to pathogens. This includes developing a suite of models to test hypotheses regarding the durability of acquired immunity through natural infection, vaccination, or in combination (hybrid immunity). This project is part of a multi-country collaborative initiative focused on developing novel immunological assays for viral surveillance, involving teams from Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, and the UK. The Research Fellow will work closely with the modelling teams at NUS (directed by Dr Hannah Clapham) and Imperial College London / Imperial Global Singapore (directed by Professor Azra Ghani), and will benefit from joining an established team of mathematical modellers and epidemiologists at CERM.
