**Job Description**
The National University of Singapore is seeking a Research Fellow to join a new group within the Centre for Epidemic Research and Modelling (CERM) led by Professor Azra Ghani. The role involves leading research in the development and application of within-host mathematical models to understand the long-term dynamics of natural- and vaccine-induced immunity to pathogens, specifically to test hypotheses regarding the durability of acquired immunity through natural infection, vaccination, or a combination. This project is part of a wider multi-country collaborative initiative focused on developing novel immunological assays for viral surveillance.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong programming skills, ideally with experience in R/R packages and GitHub as a collaborative coding environment
• Ability to communicate technical scientific results verbally and in written formats to an interdisciplinary team
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
• Ability to interact with policy makers and other stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Track record of publication in peer-reviewed journals commensurate with experience
