**Job Description**
This Research Fellow position at the National University of Singapore (NUS) in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering focuses on advancing selective separation technologies, including membrane and electrochemical methods, to address pressing environmental challenges such as carbon capture and the removal of emerging contaminants. The successful applicant will work under the supervision of Asst Prof PAN Weiyi within the Pan Lab, leading experimental activities and conducting novel and impactful research. Responsibilities also include disseminating findings through publications and presentations, supporting and mentoring graduate students, and contributing to proposal writing, teaching, and outreach activities.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong writing, critical thinking, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience in Machine Learning (significant advantage).
• Strong backgrounds in either experimental or computational research will be preferred.

• Environmental Engineering
• Chemical Engineering
• Closely related field
