**Job Description**
The National University of Singapore invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Departments of Ophthalmology and Biomedical Engineering. The successful candidate will join the Eye N’ Brain Research Group, focusing on neurobiological interactions between the eye and the brain, and the regulation of ocular and neurological functioning by light. The role involves an innovative research project utilizing novel artificial intelligence-driven pupillometric and eye-tracking strategies to detect ocular and cerebral neurodegeneration, with the goal of translating fundamental findings into screening and therapeutic interventions. The appointee will work within a versatile research group from NUS and SERI, benefitting from state-of-the-art equipment, mentoring, and support aimed at producing high-impact publications and securing individual research funding.

• Good knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the visual system
• Knowledge in data processing, analysis and statistics
• Excellent data interpretation and communication skills
• Excellent scientific writing skills (manuscripts and grant applications)

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Visual Sciences
• Visual Neurosciences
• Cognitive Neurosciences
• Other related disciplines
**Experience**
Other:
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in visual sciences research, light, pupillometry, and/or gaze tracking (including years of master’s and/or Ph.D.)
