**Job Description**
The Department of Biology, within the Eberly College of Science, has part-time openings for Research Lab Assistants in the Crowley research lab. These positions will support the Penn State Neuroscience Institute by assisting Dr. Crowley with communications and social media tasks. Selected candidates have the option to receive academic credit in addition to being paid. The role involves designing and conducting research projects, collecting, analyzing, summarizing, and reporting data according to established protocols, and informing the Principal Investigator of research information. Responsibilities include assisting in the development, design, and execution of research projects under the direction of senior research personnel, contributing to experiments, processing and presenting data, and gathering and interpreting information on relevant laws, policies, industry standards, and emerging trends in the field of study.
